Spring blooms or clear autumn skies

March–May brings rhododendrons and milder days; September–November offers crisp views of the high peaks. June–August is monsoon, lush but misty for Tiger’s Nest. Winter (Dec–Feb) is cold and clear in Paro/Thimphu; some high routes close.
